Walking Weekend £11.55 for 2 nights Happy New Year ! Start the New Year with a Take A Hike Lake
District bargain walking weekend for less than £5.79 per night. Grasmere YHA has extensive gardens visited
by red squirrels & deer. It is set close to the lake & village with
views of the mountains and gardens. With easy access to several Wainwright
peaks and pubs afterwards including the famous Tweedies
Bar. Don’t be put off by the bargain price if
you have never stayed at a YHA before. They offer
good quality accommodation but we got a fantastic group discount for Take A
Hike separate male & female 4 bed rooms. Places are limited so grab a bargain quick.
If you snooze you lose ! These TAH bargain weekends
sell out very quickly, and this one is incredible good value. Saturday and Sunday’s walks are to be
decided depending on weather and the group’s ability. Expect hardish Wainwright mountain routes over 9 miles with icy
steep rocky paths but nothing too severe, great fun and well within most
people’s ability. Beginners are welcome, we want you to come
and you will be supported but try do a few Yorkshire Dale winter practice
walks first to test your ability and equipment. Click here for the recommend
walking kit list because if you come unprepared it may spoil your
enjoyment and that of the whole group. Sorry places can’t be reserved without full
